Mission Statement

The mission of the Center for Academic Advising is to provide high quality, innovative advisement services which allow students to make sound academic decisions that facilitate the accomplishment of their educational and career goals while positively impacting student satisfaction and retention at Columbus State University.

Goals

Goal 1: Assist students in the process of selecting a major

Goal 2: Encourage student participation in the college experience through a variety of co-curricular and experiential learning opportunities

Goal 3: Increase first-year student satisfaction

Goal 4: Provide support for academic advising among the CSU faculty and staff
